Another One Bites the Dust

Derek and Heather have been married for a few weeks.  I am finally recovered from all the activities.  So much effort goes into a wedding even on the groom's side, especially when you are the photographer as well as the mother of the groom.  Anyway, the wedding went well and the day was beautiful.  We had many guests to the wedding reception.  What a party!  I now get to show off my favorite pictures from this special day.

Country Wedding

August 22, 2012

I know it has been awhile since my last post.  Life has gotten crazy busy as we get ready for my son Derek's upcoming wedding.  I have been busy photographing the engagement photo's and designing the announcements for the wedding next week.  The past two weeks have been busy with shopping for flowers, deciding on arrangements for the luncheon centerpieces and many other small things..  Along with that, I have been photographing Heather's bridal portraits (and editing).  This past weekend we went to Logan, Utah to help my youngest daughter get moved into her apartment.  She starts college next week.  

After spending all day moving and shopping for her new place, I met Derek and Heather in Logan to take their wedding pictures.  Yes, I know that the wedding is next week.  It is the growing trend to take the actual pictures of the wedding couple before the wedding.  Although I have many photographs I am excited to post, I will have to wait to share them with you after the wedding.  I can share some photo's from the engagement session.  

I hope you enjoy them and I hope you will enjoy coming back to look at more photo's after the wedding next weekend.

Baby Photo's of Emma

Emma turned 3 months old this month.  I have been asked to take her photographs once a month for the first year.  It is certainly a joy for me to do so.  She is as sweet as she is beautiful.  However, her first and second photo shoot didn't go exactly as planned.  Emma had other ideas about how she wanted things to be and of course we have to do things her way.  Now that she is a few months older, she has decided to do things our way.  Well, at least more the way her mom and I would like her to do things.  I have been behind on posting because of my workload.  I am playing catch up here and double posting pics from Emma's 2nd and 3rd month photo sessions.  I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I enjoyed taking them.  She is an absolute doll.
