Adventures with Charley and Ava

Charley is my grandson and Ava is my adopted granddaughter.  Together we have a lot of fun playing and laughing.  I love taking pictures of them as they explore their world together.  Spring is on its way with more adventures in store.  Here are some of our indoor adventures.

Enjoy!

Family Photo's for the New Year

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share some photo's from my family photo session last week.  It was a short shoot because little Charley doesn't last that long before he gets really fussy.  Anyway, I think they turned out pretty good.
Enjoy!

SANTA COLLECTION

I just wanted to share some pictures with you of my Santa collection.  I have been collecting them for many years.  I can tell you where each one came from.  There are not that many, but I do love each one of them.  Most of them I have picked myself and others have been given to me.  Some have very special meaning to me because of the person that gave it to me.   I don't have that many, but I certainly do enjoy them.  Every year I keep my eyes open for one that just might be the next Santa to add to the collection.

Enjoy!

HURRICANE WINDS IN UTAH

December 01, 2011

Hello Everyone,

We are having extremely high winds here in Northern Utah.  I live in Layton, Utah and went around the block just to see some of the damage.  Some of this is in my own yard.  Our fence is halfway down in the backyard and the big pine tree by the back fence is just about ready to fall over.  Plus damage to the Jeep.  The picture of the jeep window is actually not dirt.  It is sand blasted little pellet wholes in the window.  Incredible crazy weather.

SNOW FALLS SOFTLY

November 30, 2011,

It started raining lightly around noon today here in Northern Utah.  As I was driving home from my daughters house in a neighboring city, the rain quickly turned to snow.  Looking at this new snowfall I realized just how beautiful the light snow made everything.  It is just a dusting of snow so far, but yet so wonderfully breathtaking.  I had to grab my camera and take a few shots of this simple, soft snowfall.  It has certainly brought on the Christmas spirit for me.  After Thanksgiving, it just hasn't felt like Christmas.  The trees have lost there leaves and the snow that fell before has all melted.  Even with putting up the tree and decorations, it just hasn't felt like the Christmas season yet.  This new, light snowfall has helped to put me in the Christmas spirit.  Hopefully, it will do the same for you.

Enjoy!
